Eh Oh! Canada Noooo!

          Hey everyone, if you didn't have time to catch Team Canada in the World Junior Hockey Championship game you can relive it through twitter. If you're interested in seeing how the glory of a nation was lost please follow along with the pictures, and comments below! Enjoy!

Part 1:

As you can see here, I started with a nice tumblr post of my living room TV, and a cold glass of beer poured (in a Team Canada cup) ready to watch the boys bring home the gold, or so I thought. I couldn't help but make fun of last years chant "Eh oh, Canada Go!" (a shameful marketing ploy by Pepsi-Canada).

Part 2:

As Canada absolutely dominated the Russians early in the first period, the Russians somewhat resembled Bambi slipping on ice.

Part 3:

Team Canada Hockey showed off some of their technology by using 3D animation replays, little red circles under players (like NHL 2002 for PS2), really quite humerous compared to what the NFL can do!

Part 4:

Russia quickly drops behind 3-0, and have to pull their goalie Shikin. Pulling a goalie after 3 goals will become extremely important later on in the game...

...just a Jersey Shore reference.

Part 5:

The Russians quickly snap in 2 goals (11 seconds apart), man I hate Pierre= click here to find out why. Funny Video

Part 6:

Part 7:

Visentine was looking a little shaky after 4 straight goals. Remember: the Russians pulled their puck-bag after only 3 goals... while Vistentine stayed in the whole game for the Canadians.

Part 8:

The in front of the net one-timer is easily the cheapest goal whilst playing NHL for Playstation 1, 2 or 3. Canada chose to not use it.

Part 9:

Right here is where I switched to the peoples choice awards. It's not that I don't have faith in Team Canada, it's that the Kardashian's were on.

Part 10:

Once I flipped to the People's Choice Awards I got to see what the #1 Viral Video of the Year was: click here to watch it "Single Ladies Devastation".I think they could have filmed that Buffalo Arena and called it "Canadian Devastation."

Wikipedia defines White Russians as: a sweet cocktail made with vodka, coffee liqueur (e.g., Kahlúa or Tia Maria), and cream served with ice in an Old Fashioned glass. Milk, half and half, or Baileys Irish Cream is often used as a substitute for cream.

I remember when this happened to the leafs. St. Louis came back from a 5 goal deficit in the 3rd period. Wow. Watch the video here.
